Washington Nationals Parking PDF
In 2005, the Montreal Expos became the Washington Nationals and moved to the D.C area to set up shop and play some ball. Parsons Brinckerhoff, the world's leading planning, engineering and construction management organization was commissioned to handle the flow of traffic in and around RFK stadium for the 2005 home opener.
Part of this task involved informing the public about best travel routes, public transportation and parking for the game. To do this PB hired 14 East to create a one page PDF that accomplished all of those things in an elegant and portable way.
The PDF needed to be a downloadable and printable guide to the stadium from all points around the area. This included a complete inset map of the popular Metro subway system, along with written directions and parking instructions for the drivers. These logistical issues of traffic are often taken for granted, but usually make or break an event of this scale. Needless to say, the home opener was a huge success and this PDF played an integral role in making sure that the people knew how to get there, and where to park.
