announces today that they have been awarded an interactive media award! The annual competition recognizes excellence in interactive media production among firms and individuals who earn under $5 million per year.

"The Tropicbeauty.com Website allowed us to really push the envelope on design and functionality. We integrated a highly-stylized graphical layout with a Cold Fusion powered back-end to allow the Wesbsite administrators at Global Events to have the ability to make changes to the content of the site quickly and easily. The production of this site offered us an opportunity to pull from the talents of all employees here at 14 East to brainstorm and create a dynamic environment," said Jon Juriga, President and Founder of 14 East. The 2003 awards competition received hundreds of entries from several countries including: The United States, United Kingdom, Canada and New Zealand. Entry categories included: Business to Business, Consumer Information, Entertainment, Flash, Public Service, Sales / E-commerce and Self Promotion. A panel of judges evaluated several multi-media formats including web sites, Flash e-cards, CD-Roms, DVDs and streaming media. The 2003 panel of judges consisted of various industry professionals with diverse backgrounds including marketing, creative direction, multi-media production, and technical development.

We saw hundreds of innovative and incredibly creative projects that showcased excellent interactive media solutions," said Mike Sauce, President of the Horizon Interactive Awards.
